  1. 1. The topic sentence is the main sentence of a paragraph, which describes its content and direction. It details the main controlling idea of the paragraph. It also sets the tone for the organization of the supporting sentences that further explain the concept established by the topic sentence.

    There are three main sorts of sentences that can be used in every paragraph. Introductory, body, and concluding paragraphs all contain topic sentences, followed by detail sentences, and terminated by concluding or transition sentences.

    2. The topic sentence is usually the first sentence, although it does not necessarily have to be placed at the beginning of the paragraph. It can also be used in the middle or at the end of a paragraph. What matters is that the total content and structure of the paragraph should be firmly rooted in the topic sentence.

  2. 1) The topic sentence is composed of paragraph that can be found easily without which paragraph lose or change the meaning, in that it incorporates the bulk of which everything else depends.

    According to the video should contain four elements that are useful when writing a paragraph, these are; enumerator, position, link word (s) and scope the last point.

    2)The topic sentence may appear, usually in the first paragraph as we have often noticed. But may appear else where in the paragraph and usually appears in the last sentence. If it is very important that every paragraph has its topic sentence.

  3. 1) The topic sentences is the most important sentence when you write because this sentences have the main idea of the paragraph. Each to contain specific information but it cannot provide a general fact. It must contain controlling ideas which helps with the flow of ideas in the paragraph.

    2) Commonly the topic sentences is the first sentences in the paragraph but it can be found in the middle or add the end.
